Series consists of legal records primarily relating to land transactions. Series includes indentures, deeds, land title documents, purchase agreements, survey information, and land descriptions.
The fonds contains proposals, reports, minutes, photographs, promotional material, clippings and publications. The materials document the planning and opening of the Brantford campus; special events held at Laurier Brantford; promotion of the campus and its programs; Laurier Brantford in the press; and campus governance. Fonds consists of correspondence, newspaper and magazine clippings, lecture notes, newsletters, cards and party invitations, exhibition catalogues, reproductions of art works, passport, certificates, and photographs relating to L.A.C. Panton’s personal and professional life. The photographs range from portraits of his family in England to scenes that provided the basis of paintings, particularly the Nova Scotia coastline. Correspondence relates to his involvement in art societies and his community in North Toronto but does not include his family life. Letters were received from several members of the Group of Seven, Florence Wyle, Arthur Heming, Fred Brigden, G.A. Reid and many others. Clipping files relate both to his professional life and his interest in economics and current events. The fonds arrived at the archives in no discernible order; order has been imposed by the archivist to correspond as much as possible to a file listing found in the fonds. (Lawrence Arthur Colley), 1894-1954Series consists of a typed, annotated, carbon copy minute book of the Roman Catholic Separate School Section No. 1 & 2 School Commission [la Commission Scolaire Separee R.C.S.S.U. No. 1 & 2] Rayside Township, Azilda, Ontario. Trustees included President Denis Landry, Donat Leduc, Roger Landry, Elzéar Beausoleil, Roland Landriault, and Secretary A- Emile Maheu. Conference attendance, faculty and staff employment, property costs, purchases, construction costs, budget allowances, building renovations, school openings and closures, supplies, operation costs and other topics are discussed. Reports of elected positions in the Roman Catholic Separate School Section No. 1 & 2 school commission are included within the minutes.
